Mrs. Thatcher died.
今早一起床，賀瑞斯便聽到了這個消息。
說真的，賀瑞斯對她的印象只有她簽下了《中英聯合聲明》以及她離開時摔的那一跤，那就像是預計了他未來的日子一樣。
但是他很清楚，戴卓爾夫人對於亞瑟的重要性，她總是一心一意的幫助他。
賀瑞斯有些感慨，想不到隨著時間的流逝，自己和亞瑟曾經連繫的事物一件一件接二連三的消失。
無論是天星碼頭、皇后碼頭、立法會......現在連戴卓爾夫人也離世了。
賀瑞斯看一看身旁的時鐘，現在是六點嗎？那現在致電過去也應該沒問題吧。
拿出手機，撥通那個在遠洋的電話，不消片刻便已經接通了。
「......賀瑞斯？」亞瑟那沉厚穩重的聲音在他的耳邊響起。
賀瑞斯沒有說話，只是閉上雙目，似是在等待著什麼，亞瑟也沒有打破這沉默，只是靜靜的陪著他。
「亞瑟先生，還好嗎？」賀瑞斯突然便開口說話了。
亞瑟馬上回應道︰「啊...嗯......還不錯。」他很清楚賀瑞斯所問的原因，而事實上，他也沒有太大的感傷，他早已習慣了與人生離死別。
只是，他有些感觸，畢竟他曾答應過賀瑞斯要和戴卓爾撲人一起去香港，可惜再也沒有機會了。
而他與賀瑞斯一起生活過的痕跡，確實正一點一點的消逝，無論是人或事。
在歷史的巨輪下，一切都快要被碾碎了。
這是個必然的因果，他很明白，卻不願接受。
「啊啊，你又失約了，亞瑟先生。」賀瑞斯嘲諷道，雖然聲音不大，卻足以讓他聽入耳。
他在怪我嗎？亞瑟自嘲道，但是的確地，他真的失約了，自己也只能說︰「對不起，賀瑞斯。」
賀瑞斯歪一歪頭，說道︰「不要緊，我並沒有怪責你，只是想感慨一下，時間恢流逝得太快了，我們都已經分開十六年了。」
我．們．已．經．分．開．十．六．年．了。
任何說話都沒有這句話更要讓亞瑟感到心痛了。這十六年間，他一次也沒有回去。他忍不住說了，
‘Sorry Horace, I miss you so much, and I will always love you until the world end.’
‘Yes, me too, but how can you promise your love so easily?’
‘No. That is not so easy to make this decision, but when Mrs. Thatcher signed the treaty, I have been thinking like this.’
‘You’re so silly, if you fall in love with another, I won’t stop you. If it really come, please tell me, and I would let you go. Can you promise me?’
‘Well you know, this day would never come. But if this really happen, I must tell you. But you should also promise me, don’t remember and love me anymore. Even though you hate me, I won’t mind, promise me okay? My dearest ‘
‘Yes sir, but I really hope that damn day would never come.’
‘Hey! Horace, don’t say thing like that, you know I hate that word so much.’
‘I feel very sorry......and I really miss you so much, I want to have a dating with you one more time, just like the past. I want to kiss you.’
‘When I finish the death of Mrs. Thatcher, I would come to Hong Kong, wait for me, Horace.’
‘......Ha, don’t forget this promise, Mr. Arthur.’
‘I won’t let you being alone when you think of me.’
‘But I miss you everyday, so invade to Hong Kong and signed a forever treaty, then, we could come together, and won’t leave each other anymore.’
‘Oh, how is such a good idea? But I would not let you become my colony anymore. I want you get married with me. Do you want this is a best way? And you would be my wife, Mrs. Arthur.’
‘Who want to be your wife?’
‘So you want me to find another Mrs. Arthur?’
‘You can do so if you are brave. I will kill you as I can do so.’
‘Hey you can not be so mean! I just do the way you like, if you don’t want to be Mrs. Arthur.’
‘Umm...... okay, I accept your idea. I accept to be yours and you could not fall in love with others. You could only love me and think of me. If not, I would kill the fucking bitch and you, lastly I would kill myself.’
明明聽到自己最不喜歡的髒話，可是亞瑟這次沒有什麼反感，被自己這樣可愛的戀人這樣說道，根來捨不得要對生氣啊。亞瑟繼續說
‘Then, this day would never ever come. Our love will never die.’
